Detroit Diesel DD16 Engine – Real-time Visualization – Unity 5

Detroit Diesel DD16 Engine – Realtime Visualization – Unity 5 from Winston Patrick Brathwaite on Vimeo.

I put together this demonstration primarily for the purposes of further evaluating Unity 5 as well as high-fidelity real-time visualization as a whole. This demonstration features a highly detail mesh (originally CAD data, tessellated/triangulated for use in-engine) with persistent animation well as triggered animations based on user input (hiding sections/ highlighting sections, etc.) Autodesk Maya was used for much of the data prep and as stated, Unity 5 is the real-time engine.
